Bologna, Italy – March 27, 2025 – The future of electric mobility is taking center stage at BolognaFiere this April with a major double event dedicated to the technologies driving electric vehicles and batteries. Organized by A151, E-TECH EUROPE 2025 and BATTERY DAY 2025 will bring together over 150 companies, research institutions, startups, and professionals from across the globe to explore the latest advancements and opportunities in e-mobility.

Now in its fourth edition, E-TECH EUROPE 2025 will run on April 15–16, transforming BolognaFiere into a hub for innovation in electric and hybrid vehicles, battery development, industrial electric transport, and automotive technology. Spanning 7,000 square meters, the international trade show will feature exhibitors from 14 countries, including Italy, Germany, France, the United States, China, and India.

The show’s program includes:

  • 14 technical conferences
  • 2 workshops
  • 100+ expert speakers Topics range from heavy vehicle electrification and battery recycling to self-driving car technology and new component innovation.

Special features of this year’s show include:

  • Automotive Glass Forum, organized by GlassOnline and Glass-Technology International
  • The first “Scrosati Award”, promoted by ENEA
  • Showcases from Formula SAE university teams and new student innovation areas
  • Dedicated areas for key sectors: Carbon Tech, Re-Battery, Invex, Auto Recyclers, and Interiors
  • The Fortronic Electronics Forum 2025, Italy’s premier event on power electronics, hosted by ASSODEL

Preceding the trade show, BATTERY DAY 2025 will take place on Monday, April 14 at the BolognaFiere Service Center. This first-of-its-kind conference in Italy focuses entirely on the battery sector and features insights from 30 leading experts, including pioneers, engineers, and business leaders. Keynote speakers include Francesco De Meo, automotive advisor at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, and Antonio Rinaldi of ENEA.

The Battery Day agenda features four sessions:

  1. Stories and experiences from Italy’s battery pioneers
  2. Battery packs in Italy: paths to leadership
  3. Startups and rising players in battery tech
  4. Policy and investment: how to strengthen Italy’s position

The event will conclude with a panel on attracting investments, moderated by Francesco Naso, General Secretary of Motus-E, with expected participation from European diplomatic representatives.
