E-Tech Europe 2025, the fourth edition of the premier international trade fair for the electric vehicle and battery manufacturing industry, concluded today at BolognaFiere with outstanding success. The two-day event welcomed thousands of professionals from across the mobility and energy sectors, who explored innovations from over 150 exhibitors representing Italy and 13 other countries.
A standout highlight was the unveiling of Bosch Engineering’s “Stradal-E,” the electric version of Dallara’s iconic “Stradale” sports car, drawing significant attention from attendees. The event also featured 14 expert-led conferences and two workshops, with over 100 speakers covering key topics including heavy-duty EV electrification, battery innovation and recycling, new automotive components, and future autonomous mobility.
“E-Tech Europe 2025” also hosted the third edition of the Automotive Glass Forum, with discussions led by top experts in next-gen glass technologies. For the first time, the exhibition included collectives from the Motor Valley Accelerator and ANFIA, showcasing emerging start-ups and seven international “Formula SAE” teams. A notable milestone was the inaugural Bruno Scrosati Award, presented by ENEA to Elisa Emanuele of Politecnico di Milano for her cutting-edge research in battery diagnostics.
Five thematic focus areas received high engagement:
- Carbon Tech – carbon and composite technologies
- Re-Battery – battery recycling
- Invex – electric industrial vehicles
- Auto Recyclers – vehicle recycling
- Interiors – advanced automotive interior solutions
Simultaneously, the Fortronic Electronics Forum 2025, organized by ASSODEL, reinforced Italy’s central role in the power electronics landscape.
The momentum began a day earlier with Battery Day 2025, Italy’s first dedicated conference on the battery industry. Organized by A151 in partnership with Battery Industry, the event brought together 150+ professionals and 25+ speakers to address the future of Italy’s battery sector amidst global competition and energy transition challenges.
In a special message, Adolfo Urso, Italy’s Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, expressed the government’s commitment to industrial policies that enable a green, competitive, and socially balanced transition. “We must reclaim global technological leadership starting with batteries,” he stated.
“We’re extremely pleased with the success of both E-Tech Europe and Battery Day,” said Marco Pinetti, director of both events. “These platforms are becoming essential meeting points for innovation, networking, and progress across the energy transition landscape.”

Looking ahead, E-Tech Europe and Battery Day will return on April 22–23, 2026. Meanwhile, BolognaFiere will host three more key mobility events on October 8–9, 2025:
- E-Charge – Europe’s only fair for EV charging infrastructure
- Traffic – Italy’s new expo for urban mobility and traffic solutions
- Megawatt Day – Italy’s first event focused on high-power, MCS, and BESS charging systems
