SAN FRANCISCO, CA – June 18, 2025 – LF Energy, the open source foundation dedicated to advancing the energy transition through collaborative technologies and standards, has announced the program and registration details for the upcoming LF Energy Summit Europe 2025, to be held September 10-11 in Aachen, Germany.
Bringing together a diverse ecosystem of utilities, developers, government agencies, research institutions, and technology vendors, the Summit will feature over 75 breakout sessions, technical workshops, and live demonstrations focused on accelerating innovation in clean energy systems.
The 2025 agenda reflects a growing global focus on collaboration and digital resilience in the face of climate change and increasing demands on the grid. Featured topics include:

Keynotes from global utilities and technology leaders, including speakers from Accenture, Hitachi, and LF Energy Executive Director Alex Thornton, will be revealed in the coming weeks.
In addition to the conference sessions, attendees will gain hands-on exposure to more than 35 open source technologies powering the energy sector. The event will also offer technical workshops and numerous networking opportunities aimed at accelerating deployment and collaboration across regions and sectors.
